CapRelo has named Patti Smith Keeler as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Keeler brings a wealth of operational and organizational leadership experience at large and small companies —including within the relocation industry—to the growing firm.
“Patti’s leadership and wide-ranging business experience will help us manage and propel our growth amid changing market dynamics. She is strategic, knowledgeable, and has great ability to understand all implications of executive decisions,” said CapRelo President and CEO Barry Morris. “I welcome her to our team and look forward to working together in shaping and managing our continued upward trajectory as a leading global mobility firm.”
CapRelo is a full-service corporate relocation company that manages more than 10,000 worldwide relocations and assignments annually for major companies. As a trusted, agile, and proactive relocation services partner, CapRelo focuses on strengthening global mobility programs, containing costs, and serving clients and their employees. The company was recently recognized as Best Overall Relocation Company in HRO Today’s 2020 Baker’s Dozen Awards. Keeler is an effective leader with expertise in combining knowledge of strategic objectives and operational delivery with projecting, monitoring, and communicating measurable results. In this role, Keeler’s key responsibilities will be directing the support and policy counseling for clients and their transferees, overseeing CapRelo’s home sale program and inventory, managing the expense reimbursement and global compensation processes, creating operational efficiencies, and automating processes. She also will serve as a liaison between the Operations and Finance departments.
She most recently served as a consultant to a variety of companies, providing guidance on a number of operational matters. Prior to consulting, she worked for Lexicon Relocation as senior vice president of finance where she was responsible for three teams: Finance and Accounting, Operational Accounting (i.e., expense administration), and Global Compensation Services. She is credited with helping lead the company’s development during a period of exponential growth, including tripling the employee base, expanding operational capability, and designing and implementing drivers-based financial modeling.
Keeler also has held key leadership positions with large financial services companies, with a focus on fiscal planning and measurement, as well as the effective execution of market-based financial transactions through relationships with Wall Street investment bankers. Keeler graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State University, where she was a competitive swimmer. She is also a CPA.
